On June 20, 1977, Radford Auto Auction joined the automotive industry, operating as Triangle Auto Auction. On our first evening in business, a then overwhelming 142 cars rolled through our single lane operation. In order to meet the potential for an eager automotive market, we swiftly added a second lane. Again our auction, almost overnight, outgrew its capacity and we knew it was time to go full scale so we could accommodate the loyal dealers who were prospering along with us. We moved to our currentl location in 1978
